We envision a just and equitable world where every girl has the opportunity to education and a chance to fulfill her potential, to grow in a safe environment, free of discrimination, from fear of sexual and gender violence, and create a future of their choice.

Customarily, girls who are too poor and/or deemed not “bright” enough in school are withdrawn from school to work or learn a trade, usually sewing or embroidery, and are married off.
